How BG came to be

The bride guide was born out of my own unnatural obsession with iPhone applications. Ever since the iTunes app store came out, I have looked out for wedding applications that make a bride’s life easier.  Instead I only saw awkward application that were overpriced and lacking.  Quite frankly, I knew I could produce an application that was easy to use and complete. Finally in February I decided to delve into the developer world.  I approached the Bride Guide as a wedding planner, including as much knowledge and information as I thought reasonable.  But I also approached the Bride Guide as a former bride, constantly asking myself what would have made my life easier, what I used, and  importantly, what I didn’t use.

Bride Guide was submitted to Apple on June 9, 2009 and became available for purchase July 18, 2009.
